Celebration for Jason

Pepsi Max Crew driver Greg Murphy has capped his first year in the Kelly Racing stable with an 11th place finish in the final race of 2011 at the Sydney Telstra 500 in New South Wales today.
Murphy was inside the top three in the middle stages of today’s weather-affected race, but slipped outside the top 10 as a result of dry track pace and several on track incidents in the latter part of the 74-lap race.
Murphy finished the 2011 V8 Supercars Championship in 13th place, his best points finish since 2007, in a season highlighted by his pole position and third place at Bathurst aboard the #11 Pepsi Max Commodore.
David Reynolds drove hard all day despite suffering inside the #16 Stratco Commodore as a result of a cool-suit failure at the start of today’s race.
Reynolds pushed on to come home in 13th place behind team-mates Murphy and Rick Kelly, finishing his second V8 Supercars Championship season in 19th place in the points standings.
Jack Daniel’s Racing driver Rick Kelly jumped into sixth place in the 2011 V8 Supercars Championship standings in the final race of the season in Sydney today.
